The tagging feature allows freeform metadata to be used to label workspaces, sources, or files, in Onna. Once applied to files, you can search using tags, making tags an effective tool for organizing your data.
How to Search Using Tags
To search using a tag, simply navigate to the search bar and use the syntax: ❌tag: tag name Please note: You must put quotation marks around the word or phrase of your tag. You also must make sure you are spelling exactly as the tag is spelled. |
How to Filter Using Tags
Step 1To cull your search results (a), you are able to filter by tag. To start, click on the ‘Show filter’ icon in the upper right corner of the screen (b). |

Step 2You’ll now see a filter panel appear on the left side of your screen next to the main menu. In the filter panel, scroll down to the ‘Tag’ section and put a checkmark next to the tag you want to filter by (a). You’ll then see the number of results appearing decrease (b). Please note: The ‘Tag’ filter may not be available if it has not been enabled in the filter bar. To enable additional filters, please click here for instructions. |
