Introduction
When you set up a source in Onna you’ll authorize Onna to access data from that source’s API. Sometimes that credential will expire and need to be reauthorized. We’ll explain the steps to re-authorize.
Renewing Credentials for a data source
You can renew credentials for a source from one of three areas, “My Sources,” the workspace where the source is set up, or from your “Authorized Connections,” if the credential is set up as an Authorized Connection.
My Sources
When a source needs it’s credential to be authorized in “My Sources”, the source will have a “Renew Credentials” button. Select the button and follow the flow to renew the credentials.

In Workspace
When viewing a source in a workspace, a fingerprint button will appear next to the last updated date to indicate that it can be renewed. Select the button and follow the flow to renew the credentials.

In Authorized Connections
When viewing your Authorized Connections, a “Renew credentials” button will appear. Select the button and follow the flow to renew the credentials.

Notifications about Renewed Credentials
When and how will a user be notified about needing to renew credentials.
Email Notifications
The user who created the source will be notified about the need to reauthorize the re-credentials via email. The subject of the email will begin with “Credentials expired in source” and there will be a link to the account to renew the credentials.
