Happy New Year! Here are our final product updates for 2020. Our Q4 Product Quarterly Release Notes will tell you everything that is new and improved in Onna (there's a lot). As always, we welcome your feedback, and if you have questions or require support you can email support@onna.com
Highlights
Preservation - Google Suite

Preservation now has the option to include Google Suite sources in addition to Slack Enterprise. Data from a user in GSuite will be preserved for an account based on access to a user.
For Gdrive, Onna will preserve files the user has created, that have been shared with the user, or that have been shared with a group the user is a member of.
For Gmail, all emails in the account for the user, as well as any emails for the user in other users’ mailboxes that are synced for that data source.
Slack Enterprise - New Collection Flow
The Slack Enterprise collection flow has been optimized to reduce load times when configuring your source.
After proceeding with the OAuth, the user can choose to select whether the sync should be set up as a Custodian Collection or not, as well as what types of conversations to sync. Conversations are divided into 2 types, each with 2 sub-types. Under messages, there are direct messages and multiparty (or group) messages and under channels, there are public and private channels.
Note that Organization Channels are no longer separated at this stage of the sync settings. Organization channels (channels shared between Workspaces on the same grid, or across the entire enterprise grid) are configured in the next section.
While performing a Custodian Collection the user may also select “Load user list” which has two options, loading the full user list from Slack, or importing a CSV of email addresses (one per line) of Slack users to Collect making it easier to collect from a large number of custodians. To learn more about our new Slack Collection flow please reference our How to Collect from Slack Enterprise documentation.

Note: The Custodian collection will no longer display the list of channels that will be synced for a user in a collection. Instead, it will automatically sync all channels that the selected custodian(s) is a member of.
Identity Mapping

Identity Mapping in Onna associates the data from a user in an application with a unique identity in Onna. Utilizing this identity, in Onna, you can then search, and find all of the relevant data associated with that identity across multiple data sources. Identities are the building block for the Preservation functionality in Onna. To learn more about Identity Mapping, please visit our Identity Mapping documentation.
